Respirator users minimally require Grade D breathing air. Dräger‘s fixed panel or portable case provides Grade D breathing air by filtering air through three filters, and constantly monitoring the air stream for carbon monoxide. Most commonly used when the source of air is in-plant, or from a compressor. The three stage filtering removes particles, hydrocarbons, oils, and moisture. The carbon monoxide monitor continually operates, and has visual and audible alarms if air stream concentrations exceed pre-set levels. Air filtration systems are available in either 50 or 100 CFM, with use up to four or eight respirators, respectively.
